Almost twelve years ago, I discovered that healthy eating is the best medicine for positive and radical change. This experience became my own form of healing and inspired me to adopt a life purpose: to share these benefits with the world.
I firmly believe that one day, 30% of the food consumed globally will be organic, natural, and nutrient-dense — and Tía Ofilia will be the company that ensures people have access to them.

TÍA OFILIA EN EL TIEMPO
SINCE 2009
The story begins in 2009 at the Stock Exchange, where Edgar Soto's hectic lifestyle caused him to suffer from gastric reflux, cholesterol of 300, allergies, and chronic fatigue.
The doctors recommended stomach surgery, five daily reflux pills, weekly allergy shots, and cholesterol-lowering medication.
Despite the recommendations, Edgar made a decision: instead of taking pills, he chose to transform his diet.
Against all odds, in just six weeks, her cholesterol level dropped to 210. After three months, the reflux and allergies disappeared.
Edgar immersed himself in the study of how the human body works and discovered the power of healthy eating.
In 2012, with a conventional oven and a simple baking tray, Edgar brought Aunt Ofilia to life with a granola recipe.
That same year, the first bags of granola were sold to HEB, opening the door to the creation of new organic products.
From 2013 to 2017, Tía Ofilia built its presence in the main self-service chains: HEB, Walmart, Soriana, La Comer, among others.
In 2022, a line of more than 35 organic, vegan and gluten-free products was consolidated.
Expansion to Fiest Mart in Houston, TX and Lifethyme Market in New York.

En Chiapas, encontramos a 50 familias que recolectaban miel de abeja, pero que eran mal pagadas. Tía Ofilia decidió apoyarlas, triplicarles su paga y asegurarles la compra, además de capacitarlas con herramientas de producción, calidad y salubridad para certificarse como orgánicas.

ORGÁNICO MÉXICO (SAGARPA)
Mexico's Organic Products Law defines organic products as those that come from crops where no agrochemicals (pesticides or synthetic fertilizers), hormones, anabolic steroids, or antibiotics have been used.
BRC GS GLUTEN FREE

Gluten-free according to BRC GS, an international management system that identifies packaged foods that do not contain gluten.
ACELMEX GLUTEN-FREE
Identify packaged foods that are gluten-free . This certification is of interest to people with celiac disease, doctors, and those interested in celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
KOSHER
The Hebrew word kosher means "fit" (to be eaten). Kosher food is food that meets biblical requirements for consumption. This certification indicates that the product complies with strict standards of cleanliness, purity, and quality .
